Medal Of Honor: Warfighter

Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a first-person shooter video game developed by Danger Close Games and published by Electronic Arts. It is a direct sequel to 2010s series reboot Medal of Honor (2010) and the fourteenth Medal of Honor installment in the series. The title was officially announced on February 23, 2012, and was released in North America on October 23, 2012, and is set to be released in the United Kingdom on October 26, 2012.

The gameplay of Warfighter includes six different classes which are Assault, Sniper, Demolitions, Point Man, Heavy Gunner, and Spec Ops. It uses a fire team system where two people must work together and there are certain perks to working as a team. "Support-actions" return in Warfighter, and now have a bigger impact on the gameplay and how one approaches situations. Also, when one acquires a kill-streak, the player is given a choice on of one or the other, larger kill pile-ups will have greater rewards.

Viking: Battle for Asgard

The game features an open-world experience, with three islands in the world of Midgard, which the player can explore freely. The player is able to search and find his fellow Viking soldiers and rescue them, and in return they can assist him in battles.
Since the last Creative/Sega game of this style (Spartan: Total Warrior) there have been several changes. Quick time events being one, with them being used to bring down the larger and tougher enemies in the game, from bringing down giants to shaking off an assassin's grip. The way in which you fight is also different, where you fight each enemy individually rather than in groups, you can no longer do a sweeping attack to clear enemies away, you may only strike them one by one, which means becoming surrounded is a far greater danger than before. The RPG element means that you must buy combos and specialist attacks as you advance through the game.
The world has plenty of settlements which the player can attack and capture. When the player finishes his missions in each island, he must fight a large battle, which can be a great siege or a clash between large armies. One of the main features of the game is the large armies - in many battles there can be hundreds of soldiers fighting to the death.
The player may use different ways of weakening his enemy, such as killing their shaman, who summons enemy troops, or getting into the main fight and use combat moves and combos to kill enemy soldiers and champions, who drop dragon runes. These runes can be used to call upon dragons to attack enemies from the air, destroying them. The combat system of the game features a hack-and-slash style, much like the previous The Creative Assembly action game, Spartan: Total Warrior, although it is considerably more violent. It features very graphic violence includingdismemberment. Throughout the game, the player has the ability to raid various Legion-held locations on the three main islands. This can range from sneaking into a lumber mill and freeing the Vikings held there, (who will help destroy the Legion garrison) to launching an all-out one-man assault against a quarry or tower.

Doom 3

Doom 3 is a first-person science fiction horror video game developed by id Software and published by Activision. Doom 3 was first released forMicrosoft Windows on August 3, 2004. The game was later adapted for Linux, as well as being ported by Aspyr Media for Mac OS X. DeveloperVicarious Visions ported the game to the Xbox console (now backwards compatible to the Xbox 360), releasing it on April 3, 2005. British developers Splash Damage also assisted in design for the multiplayer elements of the game.
The game is a reboot of the Doom franchise, disregarding the storylines of the previous Doom video games. Doom 3 is set in 2145 on Mars, where a military-industrial conglomerate has set up a scientific research facility to research into fields such as teleportation, biological research and advanced weapons design. However, the teleportation experiments inadvertently open a gateway to Hell, resulting in a catastrophic invasion bydemons. The player, an anonymous space marine, must fight through the base and find a way to stop demons from Hell attacking Earth. Doom 3features an award-winning game engine, id Tech 4, which has since been licensed out to other developers, and later released under the GNU General Public License in November 2011.
The game was a critical and commercial success for id Software; with more than 3.5 million copies of the game sold, it is the most successful game by the developer to date. Critics praised the game's graphics and presentation, although reviewers were divided by how close the gameplay was to that of the original Doom, focusing primarily on simply fighting through large numbers of enemy characters. The game was followed by Resurrection of Evil, an expansion pack developed by Nerve Software in April 2005, while a Doom film loosely based on the series was released in October 2005. A series of novelizations of Doom 3, written by Matthew J. Costello, debuted in February 2008. An expanded and improved BFG Edition was released in the fourth quarter of 2012. The franchise is set to continue with Doom 4.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is a skateboarding video game, with an arcade-style emphasis in regards to realism. The objective is to score points by successfully completing various skateboarding tricks such as grinds, flip tricks, and aerials. Performing several moves in succession without any pause results in a combo. The player's score is multiplied by the number of tricks in the combo. If the player successfully lands the final trick the score is then banked, otherwise all points in that combo are lost. Pro Skater HD is an amalgam of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater andTony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, and as such the game does not feature any additional tricks or moves added to later games in the series. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 downloadable content (DLC) was announced on July 3, 2012. Included in the content will be the ability to perform a revert, a trick which involves changing the direction of the board while keeping forward momentum. This ability is limited to the downloadable content levels.
Players are also tasked with completing objectives in each level. In exchange for completion of these objectives players are rewarded with points that can be spent to upgrade a character's attributes. These include achieving a set high score, collecting the letters S-K-A-T-E, and finding a hidden DVD within each level. In addition to the main gameplay mode other single and multiplayer modes are included. Big Head mode is a new game mode which slowly inflates the head of the player character. If the head becomes too large it explodes, ending the game. To keep the size down players must complete combos. Higher scores have a greater impact on decreasing the player character's head size. Graffiti mode returns, and involves performing tricks on a series of objects. If a player successfully lands their trick(s), all objects the player touched will change to the player's designated color. If a second player achieves a higher score any objects that the second player touched, including any claimed by the first player, will change to the second player's color. The object is to have claim on the most objects by the end of the game. Online leaderboards are included for all modes, but online play is limited to the console versions.
